We are living in challenging times!
One of the biggest challenges that we face nowadays due to the Coronavirus lockdown is work from home.
Working from home brings with it numerous distractions from family members accompanied with various internet connectivity and team collaboration issues.
We are not accustomed to this new way of working. If you are like me, you may also be having difficulty concentrating due to the constant distractions that you face at home.
The distractions may come in various forms.
It can come in the form of kids, your parents or your better half.
You are not used to be distracted like this but you cannot let these distractions take the best of you and make you stressful.
So here’s a breathing technique that will calm your mind and help you concentrate while you work from home:
Step 1: Inhale
Breathe in and count till 4.
Step 2: Hold
Hold your breath and count from 4 to 7.
Exhale and count till 7 to 12.
You need to focus on your breath while you are doing this breathing technique. Make sure that there are no distractions.
Furthermore, do this breathing exercise for atleast 3-5 mins.
Once you are done with this breathing exercise you will find that you have calmed your mind and you are able to concentrate on your work.
So go ahead and try it.
